The needs for XO seemed endless in the beginning. As a small business the shift to large scale production meant better packaging, stronger branding, and further lean into the lifestyle of all things sweet. I’ve modified their original boxes for large scale production, created boxes for s’mores kits, fashioned cups for XO’s marshmallow cafe, and even created stickers for frozen lemonades at Lalapalooza!
S’mores Kits & Variety Packs
As some of their most popular products, the s’mores kits were worthy of their own box, separate from the single flavors or variety packs. The s’mores kit for 2 box features an illustrated infographic of the perfectly toasted s’more on it’s side panel. This is intended to curb any disagreements between “what’s best” for their share of the marshmallow!
The original s’mores kit plays along the same theme with a blown out graphic of each satisfying individual ingredient, showcased piece by piece. Each box is intended to really demonstrate the wonder of the s’more!
On that note, the variety packs get more playful featuring our adorable marshmallow characters (designed by yours truly!). Each marshmallow adorns the side with their own dedication, as they are the chosen “best of” or “marshmallow party friends”.
The XO Marshmallow Cafe was something truly special. Everything had to fit the vibe. The cups were meant to emulate a chic 70’s circular graphic but the rainbow on soft colors gave it some strong feminine undertones.

Lollapalooza Cup Sticker
XO served frozen lemonade topped with their OMG marshmallow fluff at the 2024 Lollapalooza show. A play on “hot girl summer” we chose to continue or retro vibes and vibe with “Hot S’more Summer”. This design is hand lettered and painstakingly arranged to fit into a confined shape. These stickers decorated every lemonade served that weekend and I’m jealous I couldn’t snag a lemonade for myself!
